Steps to delete your account
Sign in to your account in the Android app or on the website and follow these steps:
- The "Settings" tab (account settings)
- At the bottom of that page, the "Delete account" section → "Delete account and all data"
- Type the phrase "Delete account" (and, if your account has a password, enter it) and confirm
What is deleted
Once you confirm, the following data is erased from the server immediately and permanently, and cannot be restored:
- Your user account, email, name, profile photo, password and all sign-in sessions
- All encrypted financial records: portfolio, loans, cheques, income, expenses, accounts and budgets, and the encryption key
- Reminders, notification subscriptions, email settings and group memberships
- Portfolio sharing links
What is kept
Aggregate, anonymous statistics (for example, the number of active users) and the automatic backups of the Cloudflare database, which are kept for at most 30 days and then erased. If you uninstall the app from your phone but do not delete your account, your data stays on the server.

If you have lost access to your account, write on GitHub (github.com/nos486/realrate/issues) with your account email and we will tell you how to verify ownership and delete it. Please do not put any financial information in it.
